This one was a real good time... for all the synths on this track i used only the YM2612, which is the sound chip the Sega Genesis used. The Genesis gets a lot of flack for it's sound, which at times can be pretty ugly, but the chip when in the right hands can create some very unique and kick ass sounds... i would argue that the reason for this is because FM synthesis is not the easier or most user friendly thing in the world, and with the genesis' limitations, i can't imagine putting something pleasant together.

Either way, I feel this piece really stands up to some of the better Genesis music. Is it on par with Yuzo Koshiro's work in the streets of Rage series or Beyond Oasis ? Probaby nowhere close... But to be honest, Those were the two styles I was shooting for.
